Suffering!

"We choose to suffer" is an interesting concept. Suffering has it's place as a useful learning tool, so that we have different psycho-emotional comparative experiences. A positive aspect of suffering is that it is a learning opportunity to detach from emotional experience, so that we are neither consumed nor engulfed by our thoughts and feelings. It also offers us a way to become more aware of our reactions to emotion, and our responsibility for how these perceptions/responses ultimately shape our lives. Anger!

I was invited by a moderator on one of my blog communities to offer my insights about the concept of anger. How I define it? Where it comes from? What purpose it has in the human experence? It felt good to sit in the "wee, small, hours"  pondering on such an emotive, raw idea.
